Back to School

Well - We had an awesome summer filled with a few trips & lots of camps, but we are back to school for a few months now & back to a very full schedule.

School was a big event this year as Ryan started Kindergarten & gets to ride the School bus!
Believe it or not Gene turned the big 40 just after returning from NY. Having many of his friends together for a day at Belmont during our trip was very special. Gene's Mom & Dad seem to be settling in down here & we hope to be able to keep Dad home as long as possible. His sister Tara & her husband Adam have their baby Clayton at home, all are well & they are having fun learning all things infant... Nothing could be better!
Katy has gone back to teaching Pre-K two days a week & she is helping at the boys school a few days a week. She is all over the place keeping the boys on schedule & continues to make my day job seem easy. Katy's parents just returned from Egypt & had a wonderful time bringing us many pictures & stories of a much different world.
The boys are really busy as they have all started to take Tae Kwon Do (So they can beat each other up) & we are trying to mix that in with a very busy Club & Rec Soccer schedules. It's a good thing gas prices are going down as we have been doing some extra driving over the past few months. Grandad has been helping out a lot with Kyle's club soccer team & they look like they will be very good this season. We took the Fall Baseball season off, but still seem to spend a lot of time out in the yard getting ready for the Spring. The Rays have certainly inspired the Tampa Bay Area & the boys have been very excited each time they have advanced. It is still hard to believe they are going play World Series games down here in Tampa starting tomorrow night? My new favorite saying is "No WHITE SOX, No RED SOX, We're wearing FLIP FLOPS"! Kyle (8.5) & I were lucky enough to go to game 7 of the ALCS last night and watch the Rays hold off the Smelly Sox. When I was 8.5yrs old, I still remember watching every game as my beloved NY Yankees won the first of Back to Back World Series (77/78). Maybe, just maybe there will be a little more magic in the Rays in 08!
Aside from that we are gearing up for the Holiday stretch with Halloween right around the corner. Katy & I will be safe this year with Luke Skywalker, Anikan Skywalker, & Darth Vader guiding us around the neighborhood. There is even a big kid party this year so we will have to work on our costumes as well. You'll have to wait for pictures on those though!
Anyway, here are some recent pics.
We hope all is well with all of you!
