Today was our medical exam. Noelle was having lots of fun playing and running around while we waited. As soon as a doctor came near it was a different story. I won't post pics of that it wasn't a happy time. But luckily it ended quickly and she checked out A-OK. We walked around Shamian Island armed with our bug spray. It was a warm sunny day. Lots of fun shops and pretty gardens. We took a nice long nap together and had dinner at Lucy's. Noelle has been keeping up pretty well with the foods she was eating in her foster home. Tonight she had rice and chicken congee which is like rice soup with mostly rice. It is very common in China. Noelle is such a good eater, something I'm not familiar with from raising my boys at this age, quite the opposite! Our hotel is lit up with bright colorful lights. We look out over the Pearl River and there are colorful boats going by all evening.
Tomorrow we will go on an excursion to a Buddhist Temple, Old Chen house and the Provincial arts and crafts fair. It should be a nice day, I should have some beautiful pictures to post tomorrow. Well that's all for now...it is bedtime here and Noelle is already asleep with her Starbucks Bear. All our love to you following back home and elsewhere :)
